Irene Broaddus, age 85, passed away on Wednesday February 18, 2026 at Serenity Estates of Lena. She was born on January 17, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Andrew and Stella (Fredrick) Parzuchowski. Irene married Ivan Broaddus on April 30, 1983 in Chicago, IL.

Irene and Ivan were from Elmwood Park, IL and moved to Lena in 2004 when they purchased their first home. They cherished their home very much and lived there until Irene began to receive care at the nursing home.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband Ivan, Sisters; Janice Radzikowski and Patricia Nowosielski.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Her final resting place will be Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.
