Heath R. Eveland, 47 of Freeport, IL passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Heath was born on July 3, 1973 in Freeport, IL to Richard and Darlene (Schrock) Eveland.  He was currently employed by Snak-King as a first shift lead.

Heath enjoyed painting pictures, especially nature scenes.  He loved his friends and family more than anything, he was the light to everyone that knew him, and the life of the party.  He enjoyed a good barbeque, listening to music, and playing the drums.  Heath had a fantastic sense of humor.

Heath is survived by his son Forrest (Kasie) Eveland of Orangeville, IL; parents Richard and Darlene Eveland of Scioto Mills, IL; sister Cheyenne (fiancé Seth Shelly) Eveland of Lena, IL; niece Aspen (Kyle Hubb) Sandy; nephews Eli Sandy, and Isaac Shelly; a great-nephew Fletcher Hubb; and his beloved dog, Brittany.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in his name.
