Warren - Harold C. Boelk, 94, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Lena Living Center in Lena. He was born on July 21, 1920 in Wayne Township, Lafayette County, Wisconsin. He was the son of William F. and Maria (Krupke) Boelk. Harold and Mabel Manthei were married in Lena, Illinois on June 8, 1941. They farmed in the Pearl City area for several years prior to moving to the Warren area in 1958. Harold was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and was a retired volunteer fireman on the Warren Fire Department. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, being with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife Mabel Boelk of Warren, five children, Shirley (Marty) Brubaker and Linda Graves of Freeport, Janice (Steven) Townsend of Indianapolis, IN, Kathy McAuliff (Tony Calabrese) of Port Washington, WI, and Larry Boelk of Warren, one brother, Ralph Boelk of Mendota, IL, and one sister, Ruth Vincent of Reynoldsburg, OH, 11 grandchildren Christine Lee, Valerie (Pete) Farnsworth, Deborah Van De Mark, Dana (David) Dinderman, Michael Graves, Kellard (Sarah) Townsend, Stephanie (Barney) Ricca, Kenji (Amber) Townsend, Brandon (Heidi) Homb, Eric Homb, Erin (Mike) Janssen, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his, parents, brothers, Leo and Frank Boelk, and a sister, Hazel (Boelk) DeVoe.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Warren, IL.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL.

Rev. Andrew Skrobutt will officiate at the services.

Burial will take place at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Warren, Illinois.
