Gladys M. McGehee, 87 passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at her home in Warren. Gladys was born on October 22, 1929 in Drakesboro, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to Ernest and Iva (Burden) James. She married Norman R. McGehee on December 18, 1947 in Kentucky. He passed away on January 8, 2013. She cooked many homemade meals and enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by her children Janice (Phil) Kowal of Marengo, IL, Jerry (Kelly) McGehee of Dundee, Il, Harold McGehee of Lake Havasu, AZ, Tony (Debra) McGehee of Carpentersville, IL, Danny Joe (Faith) of Carpentersville, IL, 6 grandsons, 8 great grandchildren, sister Helen Hunley of Lake Havasu, AZ, brother Henry (Kathy) Horn of Atlanta, GA, many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, husband, a brother Charles James, and a sister Margarite Diegel.

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL.

Visitation will be from 11:00 till time of service on Friday.
