Freeport – Frankie A. Hale, 67, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Stephenson Nursing Center in Freeport, IL. He was born on July 9, 1948 in Monroe, W; he was the youngest child of Harold and Marie (Wicker) Hale. He lived a full life loving all the people in his life. Frankie served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. He worked at the Baker Manufacturing Foundry in Evansville, WI as a supervisor. On February 14, 1997, Frankie married Judy Lomas. He attended the Wiota Lutheran Church.

Frankie is survived by his wife, Judy; five children he loved: Jody (Darrell) DeBoer of Smithville, MO, James (Mea) Hale of Littleton, MA, Jason (Tara) Hale of Edgerton, WI, and Julie (Ruben) Salinas of Albuquerque, NM and Virginia (Gini) Buss of Rockford, IL. Frankie has one child of his heart by his second wife; Michael (Heather) Sosinski of Orfordville, WI. Frankie also had three more children of his heart by Judy Lomas; Mike (Stacy Meade) Leopold of Stockton, IL, Duane Leopold and friend Diane Gilbertson of Freeport, IL and Brian Douglas "BJ" Musser, Jr. (Brittany Ackert) of Freeport, IL; twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Marlene (Bill) Homb and Kathy Becky.

He was preceded by his parents, two brothers Donald Hale and Harold Hale, Jr. and one sister, Shelby Beyer.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Wiota Lutheran Church in Wiota, WI.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL.

Officiant will be Rev. Mae Jean Zelle.

Burial will be in the West Wiota Cemetery
