Frank L.
Schultz
Sep 9, 1949 — Dec 15, 2019
Frank Louis Schultz, 70, of South Wayne passed away surrounded by his loving family Sunday December 15, 2019. Frank was born on September 9, 1949 in Freeport, IL to the late George and Dorothy (Koehn) Schultz. He was a graduate of Black Hawk High School and a proud veteran of the Vietnam War.
Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whom could always be found with a smile gracing his face. He and his soul mate, Lynn, supported each other throughout their marriage. Frank truly cherished his wife and together they built a life centered around their morals and values. He taught those who knew him the importance of a positive attitude, perseverance, and most importantly kindness. Frank embraced his time with his family. He was most proud of his children: Stacey (Tim) Balbach, Jason (Michelle), Shelly (John), and Mark (Kim). He loved watching them fulfill their lifelong dreams and goals. Frank could often be found on a lake casting a line in hopes of catching "the big one" or passionately cheering for the Packers on Sundays. He was passionate about watching his children and grandchildren (Maria, Luke, Morgan Balbach, Riley and Tyler Schultz) show Angus cattle he raised on his farm. But, most importantly, Frank loved his family. He doted on his wife, children and five grandchildren endlessly. They will miss him more than words can describe.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 AM on Friday December 20, 2019 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Warren, IL. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 209 Clinton Street, Warren, IL 61087. A full military burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the church. A memorial has been established in his name.
