Lena-Evelyn L. Hutmacher, age 97 passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1918 in Lena, IL to Arthur and Myrtle (Gillette) Espe. She married Gayle Hutmacher on August 28, 1939 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Home extension of Kent and the Women's Club of Lena. Evelyn enjoyed sewing and painting.

She is survived by two daughters; Judy (Timothy) Sexton of Clinton, IL and Karen (Jack) Price of Freeport, IL. Four grandchildren; Matt Sexton, Chad Sexton both of Clinton, IL, Kirby (Kim) Price of Monroe, WI and Mark Price of Freeport, IL. Five great grandchildren; Halen Sexton, Ann Price , Abby Price both of Monroe, WI , Kenndy Price and Carson Price both of Freeport.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister Velma Jane Duth.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Officiating will be Pastor Arthur Stees.

Burial will be at Lena Burial Park.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
