Ernest H. Wilber, age 89 of Lena, IL, passed away at the Medina Nursing Center in Durand on October 25, 2025.

He was born on September 30, 1936 in Rockford, the son of Patrick and Lucille (Bradahl) Wilber.  Ernest served his country as a member of  the United States Marine Corp for 7 years.  He became an ordained minister on September 30, 1969 at the Sharon Baptist Church in Sharon, WI.  After the loss of his Wife Dureeta, Ernest moved to Lena and became the minister of the Nora Community Church for many years.  He married Carol Stich on May 27, 2000 at the Nora Community Church.

Ernest is survived by his wife Carol and son Ernest Jr. (Kathy) Wilber.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Dureeta, son Patrick, and daughter Janice Lynette.
