Eleanor I. Willhite, 85, of Orangeville, IL passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Manor Court in Freeport. She was born on June 11, 1933 to Ira and Edna (Heck) Foss in Freeport. Eleanor married Donald Willhite on December 27, 1951 at the United Methodist Church in Afolkey. She worked at Bankers Mutual Insurance in Freeport, until the birth of her children. After her three children were raised, Eleanor worked as the head cook at the Orangeville School. She enjoyed crocheting, short trips to Minnesota, and baking.

Eleanor is survived by her children; Dean (Wanda) Willhite of Brodhead, WI, Duane (Deb) Willhite of Denver, IA, and Julie (Brian )Markel of Orangeville, IL, grandchildren; Cory, Eric, Collin (Ashley), and Evan Willhite, Jessica (Shawn) Ward, and Katie (Mike) Wells, great grandchildren; Rilen, Cal, Kinley, Hudson, and Maelynn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 1993, granddaughter Brandi in 1991, and brother Elwyn Foss.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church in Orangeville.

A visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church in Orangeville.

Pastor Siegfried Schwirblat will officiate the services.

Burial will be at the Orangeville Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in her name.
