Eleanor Jacobson, 99, formerly of Glen Ellyn and Chicago, IL passed away on Christmas.  Eleanor was born on July 9, 1918 in Chicago the daughter of John Ogurek and Laura Bartoli.  She was a graduate of Tuley High School in Chicago.   Eleanor married Paul Jacobson in Chicago on July 10, 1937.  She had her own real estate company at Apple Canyon Lake.  She was the president of the Jo Davies east MLS and Woman of the year for  Apple Canyon Lake.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served many years as an usher.

Survivors include her sons: Paul (Stevie Clark) Jacobson of Lake Forest, IL, Roy (Catherine) Jacobson of Paradise Valley, AZ, one grandson, eight granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple River, IL.
