Duane "Wimpy" Reitz passed away at UW Madison on December 27, 2022 after a short illness. He was born on February 27, 1939, Son of Harold, and Lois (Straitt) Reitz. He spent 4 years serving our Country in the U.S. Air Force. Duane retired from Kelly Springfield after 37 years of service. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, and boating as well as gardening and taking care of his yard. He married Carolyn Nardin in 1962 at The Little Brown Church.

Duane is survived by his wife Carolyn; his daughter Dena (Robert) Porter; grandson Tommy Porter; sister Dalynda (Wayne) Krug; brothers- Dennis (Martha) Reitz, David (Cheryl) Reitz; sister-in-law Carla Palmer; brother-in-law George Nardin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brother Daryl Reitz.

Per his wishes there will be no services.

A celebration of life may be held at a later date.
