Dolores M. Foster, 88, of Mineral Point, WI, formerly of Apple River, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Sienna Crest Living Center in Mineral Point, WI.  She was born on September 28, 1932 in Cape Girardeau, MS daughter of Thomas and Mary (Cowin) Griffaw.  On August 22, 1948 Dolores married A. J. Foster in Piggott, AK.  A.J. and Dolores farmed in Lafayette County before going into business known as Foster's Implement and Foster's Four Season in Warren, IL. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and served as treasurer of the Altar & Rosary in Apple River, a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 298.  Dolores was an avid golfer and was a member of the Apple Canyon Lake Ladies Golf League since 1978.

She is survived by her son; Tom (Nancy) Foster of Fallon, NV, Daughter-in-law Nancy Foster of Ashland, OH, four grandchildren; Jennifer (Jim) Heidenreich of Apple River, IL, John Brian (Maria) Foster of Ashland, OH, Sara (Patrick) Carroll of Navarre, FL, Jody (Eric) Wasinger of Gillroy, CA. Great Grandchildren DreAna and Dharma Heidenreich, Alexis, Katie and Grayson Foster, Ashton and Mackenzie Wasinger and Hannah Leigh Carroll.

She is preceded in death by; parents Tom and Mary, husband, A.J.; son, John Ascher; her five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Apple River, IL.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 until time of service.

Officiating Service: Rev Andrew T. Skrobutt

Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Apple. River, IL.

A memorial has been established in her name.
