Dianne K. Korte, 75, of Warren, IL passed away from her second courageous fight with cancer, on Monday, January 16, 2023 at University Hospital in Madison with her family by her side. She was born on June 15, 1947 to Donald and Lorraine (Wilcox) Cook. She married DonaldKorte on February 25,1966.

Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved spending as much time as possible with them all. Her great granddaughter, Harleigh, was the light of her life. She enjoyed working in her many flower gardens, reading, sewing, and spending her winters with her husband at their house in Arizona.

Dianne is survived by her husband, Donald; daughters: Tammy (James) Vaughn of Peosta, IA and Juline (Richard) Tessendorf of Warren, IL; six grandchildren: Samantha (Mathew) Calica of Henderson, NV; Heather (Trent) VenHuizen of Stockton, IL; McKenzie, Jaydon, Mitchell, and Skyler Vaughn of Peosta, IA; great granddaughter: Harleigh VenHuizen of Stockton, IL; Siblings: Janan (Jeff) McNett of Warren, IL and Michael Cook of Warren, IL.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Paris Vaughn; parents Donald and Lorraine Cook.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
