Dennis Eugene Nolan, age 70 of Lena, IL, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 25, 2022. He was born on July 4,1951 in Freeport, IL, to Orville and Lucille (Wales) Nolan. Dennis married Sally Hildebrand on October 25, 1972 in Orangeville, IL.

Dennis graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1969. He then served his country in the United States Army from 1971-1973. He worked for Lena Builders for over 30 years as a component designer.

Dennis was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Las Vegas Raiders fan. He enjoyed fishing, attending his grandchildren's sporting and musical events, and loved spending time with family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his two daughters- Stacey (Mike) Plavchak of Lakeland, FL, and Mindy McNutt of Lena, IL; 4 grandchildren- Gabi Brinkmeier, Natalie and Hayden McNutt, Kayleigh Plavchak; twin brother David (Fawn) Nolan of Lena; and several nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sally; son-in-law Jeremy McNutt; mother and father-in-law Janet and Neal Hildebrand; sister Mary Brown and brother-in-law Dennis Brown.

Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday March 5, 2022 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena.

Funeral services to follow beginning at 11:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena.

Officiating will be Rev. Rick Bader.

Interment will take place at Lena Burial Park.

A memorial has been established in his name.
