Dennis Hill, 71, of Kent, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 6, 1950 in Freeport, son of Charles and Lucille (Remmers) Hill. Dennis graduated from Pearl City High School class of 1968. On January 31, 1970 Dennis married Jean (Neebel) at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton. He was a member and former president of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kent. Dennis loved to fish, hunt, going down to Texas to go hog hunting, spending time with his family and grandkids and watching them play sports. He loved his dogs and especially his dog Buddy. Dennis also loved to joke around with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife; Jean, two sons; Scott (Jean Randecker) Hill, and Tracey (Angie) Hill, two grandsons; Wyatt and Sam Hill and a granddaughter; Sophie Watts, one brother; Steve (Merri Bawden) Hill two sisters; Pat (Steve) Croffoot and Pam (Jeff) Drake, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

He is preceded in death by; parents and numerous aunt and uncles.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Kent, IL.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of service on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kent, IL.

Gary Groezinger will be officiating the service

Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL.
