Dennis Carl Brinkmeier, age 88, passed away on Wednesday September 16, 2020 in Freeport, IL. He was born on August 12, 1932 in Loran, IL to Arthur and Lydia (Beyer) Brinkmeier.  He worked at Union Dairy for many years and one of the last jobs he had was making ice cream.

He is survived by his daughters; Becky (Bob) Burton of Renton, WA, Dawn (Wade) Blaser of Freeport, IL, Son; Scott Brinkmeier of Rockford, IL. Grandchildren; Jessica Lawson of Lena, Riley Burton of Mercer Island, WA, Heather Carolan of South Wayne, WI, Stephanie Welch of Renton, WA, Abby Burton of Seattle, WA and Paul Burton of Renton, WA. Sisters; Elaine Bicker of Lanark, IL, Betty Kohn of McConnell, IL, Arlene Camerer of Freeport, IL and Lavonne Liphart of South Wayne, WI. Brother; Keith Brinkmeier of Sycamore, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Verlin, Mervin and Jerold Brinkmeier. Sisters; Evelyn Buss, Merna Kampmeier and Doris Ditsworth.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
