Stockton – Dawn L. Reed-Lillge, 46, of Stockton passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Rockford Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side. Dawn was born on June 7, 1968 in Freeport, IL to Gail and Claris (Wickler) Reed. She is a 1986 graduate of Lena-Winslow High School. On August 17, 2012 she married Greg Lillge at the United Methodist Church in Red Oak, IL. Dawn was employed by Newell Companies in Freeport for four years, and then as a parts manager for Barkau Auto Group in Stockton, IL for thirteen years. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She also enjoyed cooking and baking especially around the holidays and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Greg, of Stockton, IL; two daughters Danielle Cobb (Jesse Wingert)of Lena and Darlene Cobb (AJ Book) of German Valley, IL: three grandchildren: Elaina and Carter Diestelmeier and Benjamin Ils all of Lena; brothers and sisters: Deb Birchen, Dave Reed (Linda Pandow) all of Lena, IL Donna Reed of Stockton, IL, Danny Reed (Julie Amendt) of Pleasant Valley, IL, Duane (Tina) Reed of Lena, IL Denise Reed (Jamie White) of Freeport, Il and Dana Reed of Freeport, IL. Brothers in law; Jeff Lillge, Mark Lillge and Tony (Dawn) Lillge; Sister in law; Wendy (Rick) Auer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Leamon Funeral Home Lena, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Leamon Funeral Home.
Cremation rites to be accorded.
A celebration of life will be held at the Iron Horse Tap after the service.
Dawn will be remembered for being so full of life with a great sense of humor while living for the moment.
A memorial has been established in her name.
