Dale K. Hand, age 61, passed away at his home after a short illness on Friday February 26, 2016. He was born on September 12, 1954 in Fort Sill, OK to Cecil and Carol (Jensen) Hand. He went to high school in Sabula, IA. He was formerly married to Debra Birchen. He worked for Solace trucking for 15 plus years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiling when he was able. He also enjoyed rebuilding cars and trucks and doing bodywork in his Winslow shop. He loved family and his grandkids.

He is survived by his daughter; Jennifer (Andrew) Busser and his son Jeffrey Hand both of Lena. Parents Cecil and Carol Hand of Stockton, IL, three grandchildren; Jenna, Dayne and Liam all of Lena, One sister; Cheryl Bourland of Stockton, IL, six nieces and nephews, five great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday February 29, 2016 at the Leamon Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until time of service.

Burial will be in Lena Burial Park.

Officiating will be Paul Fritz.
