Orangeville-Constance Jean Schultz, age 77, passed away at home on Friday, August 11, 2017, in Orangeville, IL. She was born May 29, 1940, in Litchfield, IL., to George Franklin and Hannah Marie (Coward) Brooks. Connie graduated from Hazel Green High School and married Samuel Clayton Schultz on August 29, 1959 in Hazel Green, WI. She worked on the farm with her husband and later worked in the bakery at Swiss Colony. She also worked at Freeport Memorial Hospital and was a member of Richland Free Methodist Church of McConnell, IL. She enjoyed her family, Bible, 'keeping track of things' and her cats and plants.
She is survived by three children: Carolyn Jean, Monroe, WI., Joyce Ann (Randy) Werkheiser of Freeport. IL., and Brian Edward, Monroe; four Grandchildren: Joshua David (Sheila) Koeppendoerfer, TN, Amy Rae (CA) and Kyle Samuel Werkheiser, and Jordan Alexander Lickes, WI. Her three Gr. Grandchildren are Jack Daniel and Lily Anne Koeppendoerfer, and Carson James Lickes. Also surviving her are two sisters Mary Louise Gates of Hazel Green and Suzanne Marie Brooks of Rhinelander, WI.; one Brother-in-law, John (Nancy) Schultz of Gratiot, WI.; Uncle Al Rambow of AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, aunts and uncles.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 16, 2017 at Silent Hill Cemetery in McConnell, IL.
A memorial has been established for Richland Free Methodist Church.
