Cindy Jean Phillips, 66 of Winslow, IL passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 10, 2020. She was born April 8, 1954 in Monroe, WI. She was the daughter of the late Gene Russell and Alta Ruth (Kubatzke) Wuthrich. She is survived by her son Dustin Phillips of Dixon, IL, sisters; Sandy (Mike) Kint of Vero Beach, FL, and Candy (Mark) Keltner of Brodhead, WI, brothers; Andy (Tana) Wuthrich of Orangeville, IL, and Aaron (Tracie) Wuthrich of Brodhead, WI and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cindy graduated from Northern Illinois University and began a career in education that would start in the classroom working with special needs students and ended up back at her alma mater retiring from Northern Illinois University working in the offices of telecommunications.

Cindy and her family would trade in the farm life to renovate a turn of the century mansion in Dixon, IL. She loved looking for antiques and one of a kind items. She was very talented in many areas but she excelled in her creative and exquisite decorating during the holidays. Cindy was a very caring, giving and loving daughter, mother and sister. She will be deeply missed.

The family will be having a small private gathering to celebrate Cindy's life at a later date.
