Charles "Chuck" Scace, 74, of Winslow passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 20, 2017 at FHN Hospital. He was born on December 26, 1942 in Warren, IL to Austin and Elizabeth (Mullen) Scace. He married Darlene Hibner and together they had 8 children, he then married Gloria Strong on June 29, 1979 and together they had a son. He retired from Kelly Springfield after 28 years, in 2001. Chuck enjoyed deer and coon hunting, making wine, woodworking, cutting firewood and going for drives. He was an excellent pool player and jokester, who loved the Green Bay Packers and the St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his wife Gloria of Winslow; children- Mickey Scace of Virginia, Rick (Caralee) Scace of Warren, Johanna (Randy) Chezem of Florence, Roxhanna Scace of Virginia, Carl (Melissa) Scace of Freeport, Deehanna Scace of Virginia and Toby (Megan) Scace of Lena; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; step children- Tony (Jackie) Jordan of Lena and Chris (Mike) Luedtke of Appleton, WI; 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; brothers and sisters- Joyce, Corland, Thora, Ginny, Sam, Harry and Harold.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, son Tuffy, brothers Eddie and Steve, sisters Lorraine and Julie, and step daughter Denise, and a daughter-in-law Christine Scace.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 till 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home, in Warren.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established in his name.
