Charlene M. Williamson, age100 of Darlington, WI formerly of Apple River, IL passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Lafayette Manor in Darlington, WI. She was born on October 29, 1923, on her family's farm in Dunbarton, WI, now present day rural Shullsburg, WI to Russel and Hazel (Miller) Blackbourn.  She married Wilbur Williamson on October 14, 1941, in Dubuque, IA and together they raised two daughters. Charlene was a farm wife, helping Wilbur with whatever task arose.

Charlene loved baking and cooking and always looked forward to playing cards with Shirley and Stanley Smith. In her later years she enjoyed attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren sporting events. Over anything else Charlene enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Sherry Kudronowicz and Sally (Mike) Wolfram both of Gratiot, WI, Grandchildren; Todd (Jen) Kudronowicz of Cuba City, WI, Erik (Lori) Kudronowicz of Scales Mound, IL., Zach Kudronowicz of Shullsburg, WI, Chris Wolfram of Gratiot, WI and Marissa (Nate) Eaton of Warren, IL.  Great Grandchildren; Will Kudronowicz and Elyse Kastner, Kennedy, Kortney and Kaylee Kudronowicz, Brendan Kudronowicz, Noah and Christian Eaton and Alexis and Ashton Thompson. 3 special nieces; Cindy Nipple, Becky (Pete) Becker and Tammy Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Russell and Hazel Blackbourn, Husband; Wilbur Williamson and a brother Charles Blackbourn.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Apple River United Methodist Church in Apple River, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service.

Pastor Libby Rutherford will be officiating the service.

Burial will take place at West Ella Cemetery in Gratiot, WI.

A memorial has been established in her memory for the American Heart Association.
