Carol A. Clark's Obituary
Carol Clark, 66, of Pearl City passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport.
She was born on September 19, 1949 in Woodstock, IL to Leonard and Louise (Zenz) Grimes. Carol Married Ronald Clark on January 11, 1986 in Harvard, IL. She attended college in Minneapolis, MN where she received her certificate as a x-ray technician. She worked at Woodstock Hospital for fifteen years. And then became a homemaker in 1987. In 1993 they moved out to Pearl City to enjoy quietness of the countryside.
Carol was a member of the Lutheran Church denomination and enjoyed gardening, baking, horse riding and especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband Ronald, daughter Melinda (Daniel) Merboth of Mt. Carroll, IL and two grandchildren McKenzie and Katherine of Mt. Carroll.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation rites will be accorded to her wishes.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
