Carlos E. Lingle, 89 of Lena, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at SSM Health Monroe Hospital in Monroe, WI. He was born on October 6, 1935, in Jonesboro, IL to Harry and Eula (Baldwin) Lingle. He married Shirley Smith on April 17, 1955, in Robinson, IL. His career began with Western Union and later the Northwestern Telephone Company where he worked in the accounting department. He spent the majority of his career in Northwest Illinois except for a brief period of time in Colorado.  Carlos was a member of the Lena Lions Club. He enjoyed reading, camping, and traveling in his free time.

Carlos is survived by his five children- Karla (Wiley) Work of Edmond, OK, Kevin (Mary) Lingle of Monroe, WI, William (Pamela) Lingle of Canton, IL, Carl (Shelly) Lingle of Winslow, IL, Rob (Darla) Lingle of Bloomington, IL; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Helen Head of Anna, IL; and brother Bobby Lingle of Vienna, IL.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife Shirley, and sister Margaret Poole.

Private family services will be held.

A memorial has been established in his  memory for the Lena Lions Club.
