Carla M. Bogenrief, 63, of Warren, IL passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the UW-Madison Hospital. She was born on October 24, 1953 to Leo and Arlene Williams in Rockford, IL. She married Gerald Bogenrief Sr. on October 2, 1980 in Rockford. Gerald and Carla raised three children, and she stayed home to raise them. Carla enjoyed sewing and knitting, baking and cookie, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Carla is survived by her husband Gerald of Warren; their children, Josh (Brandy) Williams of Browntown, WI, Jen (Chuck) Townsend and Dawn Griffin, both of Warren; grandchildren, Justin, Heidi, Tyler, Charles, Hera, Claudia, Dayinera, and Chad; three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Jimmy, Earl, Laurie, and Cheryl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandma Elizabeth, brother Charles, and uncle Dale.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

A visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of services on Thursday.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Pastor Roger Bronkema will officiate the services.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
