Brian "Bo" Mitchell, 46, of Freeport, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 23, 1975, in West Lafayette, Indiana to Brian "Bill" and Linda (Meulbroek) Mitchell. Throughout his life he was very dedicated to his work and in his free time enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and fixing up his boat.

Many people loved Bo. He always said he "just had one of those faces" and couldn't go 20 feet without bumping into someone he knew. Most of all he always wanted to chat and hear stories about other people's lives and to spend time with his family.

Bo is survived by his 3 children- Quinn "Dion" Mitchell of Milwaukee, WI, Sydney Mitchell of Freeport, IL and Brian D. Mitchell of Oshkosh, WI; mother- Linda Mitchell of Freeport, IL; sister- Aubrey (Josh) Oates of Davis Junction; niece- Aidan Oates; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; close friends- Mike Shuey, Terry Stauffacher and Shannon Finn along with many others; and beloved dog- Bougie.

He was preceded in death by his father Bill Mitchell.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday April 2, 2022, at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in his name.
