Brenda K. Kohler 58, of Pearl City, IL passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 2, 2021. She was born to Gale and Rosalie (Raders) Pittsley on October 10, 1962 in Freeport, IL. She was a graduate of Pearl City High School. She was employed by Savencia Cheese in Lena, IL.

Brenda liked to have fun, was always there to help people, was thoughtful, and was an avid animal lover.  Her closest companion was her beloved dog, Chloe.

She is survived by her son Brandon Miller of Indiana; grandchildren-Wyatt, Scarlett, and Emelie; mother Rosalie Yeager of Pearl City; sister Dawn (Jeff) Brandt of Renton, WA; nieces and nephews- Jessie Jacobs, Casey Anthony, Geddy Bond, and Jamie Brandt.

She is preceded in death by her father Gale, brother Todd Pittsley, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL with a brief memorial service immediately following the visitation.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
