Beverly Rogers, 82 of Lake in the Hills, IL, formerly of Lena, IL passed away with her family by her side on September 22, 2026. She was born on January 30, 1944, to Robert and Dorothy (Wilson) Cazel in Elmhurst, IL. Beverly attended Gaylord High School in Gaylord, MI before pursuing her bachelor’s in education at Central Michigan University. She went on to receive her master’s degree at Northern Illinois University. She was a part of District #25 in Arlington Heights until her retirement. On August 5, 1971, she married Gerald Rogers in Arlington Heights, IL and together they raised their son, Jeffrey.

In her free time Beverly enjoyed crocheting and quilting and doing crosswords puzzles. You could also find her tending to her flowers in her garden beds or in the kitchen cooking up a meal. She loved cooking and sharing the meals she prepared for others to enjoy.

She is survived by son Jeffrey (Kathleen) Rogers and 3 grandchildren- Ryan, Katelyn, and Erin Rogers and sister Coral (Steve) Hoek.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald, 2 sisters- Donna and Ginny, and brother Bob.

A visitation will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

A private family burial will take place at Lena Burial Park.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
