Lena—Betty M. Thill, 84, of Lena, IL passed away on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, IL. She was born on August 26, 1930 to Louis and Althea (Ferguson) Keppen in West Point TWP, IL. She married Wesley W. Thill in August, 1948 at the Lena Brethren Church. Betty worked at the Lena Drug Store for 13 years. She enjoyed playing piano,sewing and camping. She was a member of Freeport Campers, Stagecoach Campers and Blackhawk Campers.

Betty is survived by her husband Wesley of Lena, IL; daughters Diana Thill-Reed of Freeport, IL, Christine (Larry) Woolcock of Waddams Grove, IL; son Mark Wesley (Linda) Thill of Dakota, IL; grandchildren Helen Reed of Freeport, IL, Laurinda (Nathan) Howe of Waddams Grove, IL Talena (Scott) Wuebbels of Freeport, IL and Victoria Lynn Thill of Freeport, IL; great-grandchildren April Woolcock of Waddams Grove, IL, Jennie and Elizabeth Wuebbels both of Freeport, IL, Levi Remmers of Freeport, IL; sister-in-law Ilene Keppen of Syracuse, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Donald and Junior Keppen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Freeport Church of the Brethren in Freeport, IL.

A visitation will from 2-4:00 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Burial will be at Lena Burial Park in Lena, IL.
